The Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Commission’s briefings, meetings, webinars and site visits help state officials keep in touch with each other and developments in Washington, D.C. – all to promote a modern, efficient regional passenger rail network.

During this past fall and winter, MIPRC conducted a survey of students, faculty and staff at 30 colleges and universities along Amtrak routes across the Midwest. We wanted to know who is (and isn’t) taking the train, and why; what would induce people to take the train more often (or at all); and what they think of passenger rail. The results are encouraging. Check our News page to find out what we’ve learned.
